Moses fell beneath the mountain sky

And the mantle passed with tears unshed

You said rise now, do not turn aside

Every place I give where your feet are led

Jordan swelled before the ark of God

Yet the waters bowed where Your presence stood

Twelve stones raised where the river broke

So our sons would know that You are good

Be strong, be brave

Do not fear the night

You go before us

You are our light

We will follow where Your promise leads

Through the flood, through the flame, through the enemy

At the sound of Your name every wall will fall

You have gone before us, Lord above it all

Land of mercy, land of ancient vow

What You spoke in faith is before us now

We will serve the Lord, we will stand and say

You are God among us to this day

Trumpets cried around the hardened stone

And the city shook beneath Your hand

But when sin was hid the strong were brought low

Till we turned again to Your command

Sun stood still above the field of war

Kings were scattered by Your mighty breath

You gave rest to every tribe by lot

And fulfilled Your word through life and death

Choose this day whom you will serve

Stone and sword cannot preserve

But as for me and all my house

We will bow and make this vow

As for me and all my house

We will serve the Lord
