For Parents and Teachers

The Kids section is built for families, Sunday school teachers, homeschool families, and other adults who want a clear way to read Bible accounts with children and young teenagers. Each account page is organized by age band. Ages 8 to 11 includes the account, a memory verse, questions, an activity, “What can we learn?”, and pictures. Ages 12 to 15 includes the account, a memory verse, questions, a going-deeper note, and “What can we learn?”. Every page ends with a questions box for parents and teachers.

Choose the band that best fits the child in front of you, not simply the number on a birthday. A child can move between the two bands whenever that is helpful. The five harder accounts that appear only in Ages 12 to 15 are Cain and Abel, Abraham and Isaac, Joshua and Caleb, Samson, and Elijah and the still small voice.

The memory verse is quoted word for word from the King James Version used by the site's English Bible. The account itself tells only what the Bible says. It does not add traditions or invented details. Difficult moments are not hidden, but they are handled honestly and gently. If you are unsure whether a passage is right for a particular child, read the Ages 12 to 15 version first so you know exactly how it is presented.

You may print these pages. Churches, ministries, schools, homeschool families, and small groups may use them for teaching and ministry at no cost.
