Now is the accepted time. Now is the day of salvation. Let grace not fall empty through careless hands. Affliction, necessity, pressure and blows; prisons and tumults, long labor, no sleep. Yet purity walks with knowledge and patience, kindness and love that no pretense can keep. As dying—and behold, we live. As sorrowful—yet joy we give. As having nothing—yet holding all things. The power is God's beneath everything. Truth in the word and the Holy Ghost near, righteousness armed on the left and the right. Honor, dishonor, good report, evil— unknown to the crowd, but known in His sight. Called deceivers, yet speaking what is true. Chastened, but death does not take us through. Poor, yet making many rich by grace; empty to sight, yet all things held in faith. As dying—and behold, we live. No stumbling block will be ours to give. In every condition the ministry sings: the power is God's beneath everything.
