Thanks be to God who leads us in Christ, spreading His knowledge through every place. We carry no perfume made by our hands; we bear the fragrance of Christ by grace. To one it is death drawing nearer to death; to one it is life waking life in the breath. Who can be sufficient to carry this weight, when one proclamation divides at the gate? We do not sell the word by measure. We do not thin the truth for gain. From God, before God, speaking in Christ— sincerity walks without stain. Thanks be to God who leads us in Christ. Through anxious roads His triumph remains. Among those saved and those turning away, the fragrance of Christ moves through every place.
