Every room is placed beneath the Lord: wives and husbands, children and fathers. Love without bitterness, guidance without breaking, obedience that pleases Christ. Whatever you do, do it heartily, not for the eye or the praise of a man. The Lord gives inheritance; the Lord sees the hidden. You serve the Lord Christ with your hands. Servants, be sincere beyond supervision. Masters, give justice and what is equal. Wrong will return without respect of persons; every earthly throne has a Master in heaven. A household is not outside discipleship. Power is not hidden from God. Let every role answer the Lord who is over it, and let every hand work from the heart. Whatever you do, do it heartily, as unto Christ, not merely to men. The Lord gives inheritance; the Lord judges rightly. You serve the Lord Christ to the end.
