[Verse 1] Verily, verily, the Son does nothing alone; He sees the Father's work and does the same. The Father loves the Son and shows Him all, And greater works shall make you marvel at His name. [Refrain] As the Father raiseth the dead and gives them life, So the Son quickeneth whom He will; Judgment is committed wholly to the Son, That all may honor Him in heaven and earth be still. [Verse 2] Who hears My word and trusts the One who sent Me Has everlasting life and shall not be condemned; From death to life that soul has passed already, The former sentence broken at its end. [Breakdown] The hour is coming, and now is, The dead shall hear the Son of God's own voice; They that hear shall live. [Verse 3] The Father has the life within Himself; The Son has life and judgment in His hand. Marvel not: the graves shall hear His summons, And every buried generation rise and stand. [Outro] The good come forth to resurrection life; The evil, to the resurrection of damnation.
