The king is glad because You are strong; How great is his joy in the rescue You gave. You handed him what his heart was after And did not hold back a word he asked. You met him first with good things; You set a crown of clean gold on his head. He asked You for life, and You gave it , Length of days with no end in sight. His honour is great because You saved him; You laid dignity and weight upon him. You made him glad in the light of Your face, Because the king leans on the Lord, And on the mercy of the Most High, He will not be shaken loose. Your right hand will find the ones who hate You. What they schemed they could not carry out. The fire will do what the fire does. Be lifted high, Lord, in Your own strength. We will sing. We will make music to what You can do.
