Send Out Your Light
Psalms · Bible Songs, Classical & Orchestral, Worship & Gospel
Judge me, God, and take my side
Against a nation that has no faith in You.
Get me out from under the man
Who lies and does what is not fair.
You are the God my strength comes from.
Why have You put me aside?
Why do I go about grieving
While I am pushed around?
Send out Your light and Your truth;
Let them be the ones who lead me.
Let them bring me to Your holy hill
And to the place where You live.
Then I will go up to the altar of God,
To God, who is my gladness past all measure,
And on the harp I will thank You,
God, my God.
Why are you down this low, my soul?
Why all this noise inside me?
Wait for God.
I am going to thank Him yet,
The one who is the health of my face,
And my God.
