God to whom all vengeance rightly belongs, Shine and rise, O Judge of all the earth. How long will the wicked boast with laughter, Crushing widows, strangers, and the orphan? Understand, you senseless among people: He who formed the ear can surely hear. He who shaped the eye can surely see you; He who teaches nations knows your thoughts. Blessed is the one You train through trouble, Teaching from the truth within Your law. You give rest in days of evil Till the pit for wickedness is dug. The Lord will not forsake His people; He will not abandon what is His. Judgment will return to righteousness, And upright hearts will follow it. When anxious thoughts multiplied within me, Your comforts brought delight into my soul.
