Someone said we were going up to the house of the Lord, and the words went through me like good news. Now the gates are standing here in front of us, and the city closes round us, all of a piece. This is where the tribes climb up to give their thanks, where the seats of judgment were set down and stayed. Ask that no harm comes near this place; whoever loves it will not be sorry. Let it be quiet inside these walls, let it go easy in these halls. For the sake of the people I came here with, I will keep asking that it goes well with you.
