The second seal is opened and a red horse answers. A rider receives the power to remove the peace of earth. Neighbors turn against neighbors as the quiet order breaks. Hands once joined together rise with weapons against each other. The Red Horse The Lamb has broken what no hand could open. The thunder calls, and history rides forth. Every crown and sword remains beneath the throne. A great sword is placed within the rider’s grasp. The color of blood spreads beneath the horse’s path. No rider moves beyond the measured command. The sealed decree advances toward its appointed end. No wall or rank can shelter people when peace is taken away. The red horse rides through the war that human hatred makes. The Red Horse The Lamb has broken what no hand could open. The thunder calls, and history rides forth. Every crown and sword remains beneath the throne. The Red Horse

About the passage

Revelation 6: The seals expose conquest, suffering, and judgment

The Lamb opens six seals and the Book of Revelation moves from the heavenly question of worthiness into the consequences disclosed on earth. Four riders bring conquest, violence, scarcity, and death, yet each operates within authority that is given rather than seized. The fifth seal turns from agents of death to murdered witnesses beneath the altar, whose cry for judgment receives both white robes and the difficult instruction to wait. The sixth seal shakes the apparently stable order of sun, moon, stars, sky, mountains, islands, and human rank. Kings and slaves alike seek concealment from the one on the throne and from "the wrath of the Lamb." The chapter ends not with an answer but with a question: who can stand? Revelation leaves that sentence open so the next vision can show a sealed and worshiping people who do.
