The Lamb stands upon Mount Sion with the sealed redeemed. The Father’s name is written where the beast demanded its mark. Many waters, mighty thunder, and the sound of harps descend. A new song rises before the throne that only they can learn. The Lamb upon Mount Sion The Lamb stands victorious upon the holy mountain. The redeemed sing what no tyrant can silence. His gospel and his kingdom shall endure. They follow where the Lamb is leading, purchased from the earth. Firstfruits unto God and Lamb, their mouths are free from guile. The patience of the saints becomes a living fortress. Every angelic warning magnifies the throne. Faultless they remain before the throne of holy judgment. Sion holds the faithful company beneath the Lamb’s own name. The Lamb upon Mount Sion The Lamb stands victorious upon the holy mountain. The redeemed sing what no tyrant can silence. His gospel and his kingdom shall endure. The Lamb upon Mount Sion

About the passage

Revelation 14: The Lamb's company and the earth's harvest

Chapter 14 answers the beast's mark with the Father's name on the foreheads of a redeemed company standing with the Lamb on Sion. Their song, truthfulness, and following of the Lamb form a direct contrast with the deception and coerced worship of chapter 13. Three angels then announce a worldwide call to honor the Creator, Babylon's fall, and the severe judgment associated with worship of the beast and receipt of its mark. A blessing on those who die in the Lord interrupts the warnings with the promise of rest. The chapter closes with two harvest scenes. The first shows a crowned figure like the Son of man reaping a ripe earth without explicitly naming the crop's fate. The second is unmistakably judgment: ripe grapes are cast into the winepress of God's wrath. The Book of Revelation lets the two harvests stand with both their similarities and their important differences.
