The passage in Colossians

This recording takes Colossians as a whole rather than a single passage, so here is the book it sings.

Colossians opens with “The Image of the Invisible God” and carries its history toward “Say to Archippus.” Written to a church he has never met, planted by somebody else, and the centre of gravity arrives in the first chapter: he is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature, by him all things consist, and he is the head of the body. Instructions that sound small and are not: pray, walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeem the time, and let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt.
