[Vision Verse] North wind opened, cloud enfolded, Fire flashed through amber glow. Four living creatures moved together, Straight wherever spirit would go. Each bore four faces, four wings lifted, Human hands beneath the span; Lion, ox, and eagle joined Beside the countenance of man. [Refrain] Wheels within wheels, Full of eyes around, Rising with the living creatures, Never turning on the ground. Wheels within wheels, Spirit moved them where it willed; Overhead the crystal thundered, All the open heaven filled. [Verse 2] Above the firmament a sapphire Held the likeness of a throne. On it shone a human likeness, Fire and brightness wrapped as one. Like the rainbow after rainfall Was the glory seen that day; Ezekiel fell upon his face When the voice began to say: [Call] Stand, son of man. Eat what is given. Speak to the rebels Whether they hear. The scroll tasted honey, Though lament filled every line; A watchman bears the warning At the boundary of time. [Final Refrain] Wheels within wheels, Glory moved beyond the place. The exiles were not hidden From the throne no walls encase.
