True care has feet. If the Lord opens the road, he will carry my care. I have no other so like-minded, no other who naturally tends to your state. Many seek only the things of themselves; he seeks what belongs to Jesus Christ. He will carry your news through the distance and bring my concern to your door. Not a messenger empty of affection, but one who has served in the gospel before. You know the proof of his character, like a son with a father he labored with me. When I see how my circumstances settle, I trust I can send him speedily. And confidence rests in the Lord that I too may soon make the road. Until then, care travels in a faithful servant, and fellowship carries the load. True care has feet. The road opens.
