Give ear, O Shepherd leading Joseph; Shine between the cherubim again. Stir Your strength before the tribes assembled; Come and save Your people from their pain. Turn us again, O God. Cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved. How long will prayer be met with anger? How long will tears become our bread? You brought a vine from bondage out of Egypt, Cleared the soil and planted it to grow. Its branches covered mountains, crossed the rivers; Why have You broken down its guarding wall? Wild creatures waste the vineyard You established. Look from heaven; visit what You made. Strengthen the son at Your right hand appointed; Then we will call and never turn away.
