The Block the Builders Threw Aside

Psalms · Bible Songs, Classical & Orchestral, Worship & Gospel, Pop & Contemporary

Give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good; Let Israel say His mercy lasts forever. Let Aaron's house and all who fear Him answer: His mercy lasts forever. In distress I called; the Lord enlarged me. With the Lord beside me, whom shall I fear? Nations circled close like angry hornets, But in His name I cut them down. The block the builders threw aside Now holds the corner up. This is the doing of the Lord, And it is wonderful to see. I shall not die but live to tell His works. He chastened me but did not give me over. Open me the gates of righteousness; I will enter in and thank the Lord. This is the day the Lord has made; We will be glad in it.
