The tabernacle of testimony opens in the height of heaven. Seven angels walk from glory bearing seven final plagues. Pure bright linen clothes them; golden girdles mark their charge. One living creature gives the bowls filled with eternal wrath. The Temple Filled with Smoke The appointed hour has come upon the earth. True and righteous are the judgments of the Lord. Let every kingdom tremble before his throne. Seven golden vessels pass into seven waiting hands. Smoke of glory and of power begins to fill the sanctuary. No mountain hides the heart from holy light. The Judge of all the earth remembers every deed. No one enters till the final plagues have finished every work. The sealed temple stands behind the angels moving toward the earth. The Temple Filled with Smoke The appointed hour has come upon the earth. True and righteous are the judgments of the Lord. Let every kingdom tremble before his throne. The Temple Filled with Smoke

About the passage

Revelation 15: A victory song stands before the final plagues

The Book of Revelation introduces the seven last plagues as the completion of divine wrath, yet before any bowl is poured it shows those who have overcome the beast, its image, its mark, and the number of its name. They stand by a glasslike sea mingled with fire and sing a song called both the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb. Their victory is not described as military conquest but as faithful refusal of the beast's claims. Their song praises God's works, justice, truth, holiness, and the coming worship of the nations. Then the temple of the tabernacle of testimony opens in heaven. Seven angels emerge in pure linen, receive golden bowls from one of the living creatures, and stand while smoke from God's glory fills the sanctuary. No one can enter until the plagues are completed. Covenant language, worship, and judgment remain joined at the threshold of the final sequence.
