[Intro] One horn rose where Judah bled, Two cast Israel far and wide, Three bent Jerusalem in dread, Four stood boasting in their pride. [Verse 1] “What are these?” the prophet wondered, “What has scattered every head?” “They are powers that lifted terror, Till no exile dared be raised.” [Refrain] Four horns lifted, Four hands answered. Pride had numbered all its towers, Heaven numbered the dismantlers. [Verse 2] Then craftsmen came with measured footsteps, Not crowned as kings, not dressed for fame. Tools in hand and faces steady, Each was summoned to his name. [Chorus] Four horns and four carpenters, Power meets the end appointed. What cast Judah through the nations Will be shaken and disjointed. Four horns and four carpenters, No oppressor stands forever. God can raise the quiet worker To undo the proud together. [Verse 3] Strike the boast, not flesh for pleasure; Break the yoke, not truth or grace. Cast the terror from its high seat; Give the scattered room and place. [Chorus - final] Four horns and four carpenters, Every threat has been accounted. Those who scattered covenant people Find their own dominion grounded. Four horns and four carpenters, Simple tools beneath command. What looked fixed in iron arrogance Falls before an ordered hand. [Outro] The prophet counted twice: The powers, then their answer.
