Ahab turned his face in anger, Lay in bed, refused his meal. [Verse 2] Jezebel wrote letters Under Ahab's seal and name. She placed false men before Naboth, Called a fast to cover shame. They accused him before elders, Dragged him out and cast the stone; Then she told the sulking monarch: "Rise, the vineyard is thine own."
