[Trumpet Verse] Silence in heaven, then incense arose; Fire from the altar was cast below. Hail mixed with blood burned tree and field; A mountain of flame struck sea unsealed. Wormwood poisoned the river and spring; Sun, moon, and stars lost part of their gleam. Woe crossed the earth when the abyss was opened; Armies advanced like a terror-filled dream. [Refrain] The dragon and the beasts May war against the saints. The dragon and the beasts May counterfeit and reign. Yet heaven keeps the names No empire can erase; The Lamb stands upon Zion, And truth outlives the beast. [Verse 2] Two witnesses prophesied clothed in sackcloth, Were slain in the city, then raised in the sight. The seventh trumpet announced the great kingdom: The world's rule belongs to the Lord and His Christ. A woman clothed with sun fled the dragon; Michael cast the accuser down. The sea beast rose with blasphemous power; The earth beast enforced its mark and crown. [Chorus] Here is the patience of the saints, Who keep command and faith. Babylon's wine will lose its sweetness; The sickle waits beneath. The Son of Man sits on the cloud; The harvest hour arrives. The dragon and the beasts have time, But not eternal life. [Final Refrain] The Lamb stands upon Zion, And one hundred forty-four thousand sing.
