War in Heaven

Revelation · High-Powered Nordic War-Song Anthem

[Chorus] Now salvation, strength, and kingdom; the accuser is cast down. They overcame by the Lamb's blood and the word they would not silence. [Verse 1] A woman clothed with the sun, moon beneath her, twelve stars crowned, cries in travail before a red dragon, seven heads, ten horns, stars swept down. Her man child is born to rule with iron; he is caught to God and to his throne. She flees to a wilderness prepared for her. [Verse 2] War breaks open in heaven. Michael and his angels fight; the ancient serpent cannot remain. The Devil, deceiver of the whole world, is hurled with his angels to the earth. [Breakdown] They loved not their lives unto death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens. Woe to earth and sea: the dragon knows his time is short. [Verse 3] Two wings bear the woman from his face. A flood pours after her; the earth opens and swallows the river. Enraged, the dragon turns toward the remnant who keep God's commandments and hold the testimony of Jesus Christ. [Post-Chorus] No place in heaven for the accuser. No silence in the faithful mouth. [Outro] The dragon stands by the sea, but the kingdom has been proclaimed.
