[Intro] He came down to Capernaum in Galilee And taught them on the Sabbath days They were astonished at His doctrine For His word was with power [Verse 1] In the synagogue a man cried out Troubled by a spirit of an unclean devil What have we to do with Thee, Jesus of Nazareth? I know Thee, the Holy One of God Jesus rebuked it Hold thy peace and come out of him It threw the man into the midst Then came out and hurt him not [Refrain] What a word is this? With authority and power He commands And the unclean spirits come out What a word is this? [Verse 2] His fame went through the country round about He entered Simon's house Where Simon's wife's mother lay with a great fever They besought Him for her He stood over her and rebuked the fever It left her and immediately she arose And ministered unto them [Post-Chorus] When the sun was setting, they brought the sick People burdened with diverse diseases He laid His hands on every one of them And healed them Devils came out of many, crying that He was Christ The Son of God, but He rebuked and silenced them For they knew that He was Christ [Verse 3] At daybreak He went into a desert place The people sought Him and tried to keep Him near He said, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also For therefore am I sent [Outro] And He preached in the synagogues of Galilee His word was with power
