Jehu rejects peace while Jezebel's whoredoms and witchcrafts continue. Ahaziah flees, is wounded, and dies at Megiddo. [Bridge] Jehonadab joins Jehu after the king tests whether his heart is right. Jehu announces a great sacrifice to Baal and gathers every worshipper. The worshippers are killed, and Baal's images and house are destroyed. Jehu retains the golden calves, receives a four-generation promise.
