Abijam follows his father's sins, yet David's lamp remains in Jerusalem. He removes sodomites and idols from the land. [Bridge] Elah reigns briefly and is murdered while drunk by Zimri. Zimri destroys Baasha's house but reigns only seven days. When Omri is proclaimed king, Zimri burns the palace over himself.
