Donde difieren los lectores

Por qué muchas Biblias señalan el final largo de Marcos
Mark 16:9-20. La KJV incluye Marcos 16:9-20. Los manuscritos griegos completos más antiguos de Marcos terminan en 16:8, mientras que otros testigos antiguos y posteriores conservan un final largo, un final corto o ambos. Por eso muchas Biblias modernas colocan los versículos 9-20 entre corchetes o los explican en una nota.
La cuestión trata de la historia del texto, no de si Jesús resucitó. Marcos 16:1-8 ya anuncia que Jesús ha resucitado, y todo el Nuevo Testamento da testimonio de la resurrección. Los cristianos difieren sobre cómo entender el final largo, pero esa diferencia no elimina el anuncio central del evangelio.
Los versículos 17-18 mencionan señales, como tomar serpientes y sobrevivir al veneno. No ordenan buscar peligro ni poner a Dios a prueba. Hechos 28:3-6 describe a Pablo sobreviviendo a una mordedura accidental, no provocándola como prueba de fe.
