Versículos 57–59: Said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou…
Juan 8:57–59 abre con “Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?” y llega a “Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple…” en su último versículo. Estudio profundo
Juan 8:57–59 forma una unidad literaria. Abre con “Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?”, gira cerca del versículo 58 con “Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.” y llega a “Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple…”.
El giro más cercano al centro aparece en el versículo 57: “Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?”

- Marca hablantes, acciones, palabras repetidas, mandatos, contrastes, promesas y consecuencias.
Invita a identificar presión, lealtad, poder y consecuencias.
